HVAC & Sheet Metal Foreman
West Coast Air is seeking an experienced HVAC & Sheet Metal Foreman with certification of successfully completing a Federal or State recognized apprenticeship program.
Prevailing Wage Work

- Minimum 5 years leadership experience with multiple crews concurrently
- Diversity in project type experience, including Federal, State, and Private funded work

We are currently performing a large amount of work in the Orange County area and are looking for an entry level Project Engineer to assist our management team in completing these projects. Applicant must be willing to work anywhere in San Diego, Riverside and Orange County areas. Primary responsibilities include field operations support. You will report to the Project Manager assigned to each project and serve as an extension of the Project Manager. The Project Engineer is ultimately responsible for understanding and accomplishing the customer’s goals while protecting and promoting the interests of West Coast Air.
Visit the site to familiarize yourself with the site conditions and scope of work.
Prepare quantity takeoffs as required.
Assist Project Manager in review of contracts and proposals.
Review specifications and scope of work.
Prepare and distribute RFI’s and submittals as required.
Manage project specific materials and equipment purchases including sourcing, maintaining subcontractor relations, ordering and tracking deliveries, and receiving and processing invoices.
Prepare and issue purchasing documents (i.e.: Subcontracts, Purchasing Orders, Service Agreements) with the Project Manager.
Assist with the preparation of cost sheets for each project to maintain purchasing control.
Support field operation in expediting schedule, completion of pertinent paperwork and expediting materials.
Support Operations and Project Manager with client communication regarding project schedules.
Maintain client relationships.
Develop project specific Safety Programs in coordination with Safety Manager and Project Manager.
Collaborate with Project Manager to prepare and submit Change Orders to the client.
Assist and support Project Manager by attending project meetings with Owner, Architect, and Subcontractors.
PROJECT CLOSE OUT
Attend and setup punch list walk-through as needed; compile the punch list and forward to Project Manager and Superintendent.
Provide required close out information to the client at the end of the project (record drawings, O&M, warranties).
Assist Project Manager to make sure the project is 100% closed out with Accounting.
